He was born in Johannesburg South Africa, but grew up in Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada. He did his undergraduate in Biology at the University of Western Ontario. After graduation Dr. Poplak took some time off school to pursue an interest in music before beginning Chiropractic school.
In 2008 Dr. Poplak graduated Magna Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. With his wife, whom he met in Chiropractic College, he decided to move to North Carolina. After practicing in Cary North Carolina for 4 years Dr. Poplak joined his friend and colleague Dr. Graczyk at Triangle Chiropractic in 2013.
Dr. Poplak grew up playing hockey and golf and his love of these sports drove him to direct his professional training to become a certified Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Instructor. He also proceeded to obtain certifications in Active Release Technique (ART), Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and Select Functional Movement Screening (SFMA) and Kinesio Taping.
Currently Dr. Poplak still plays hockey recreationally in North Carolina, and is instilling his love of the sport in his son, Cameron. He is very active in the chiropractic community and is currently the North Carolina Chiropractic Association Eastern District President working to ensure the growth and accessibility of chiropractic care in the state of North Carolina.
