Kelly Daugherty’s goal as a massage therapist is to enhance the health and well-being of those she serves by providing individualized massage. Massage is her meditation. It is healing for her and her clients!
Kelly was born in Utah and grew up in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marriage Family and Human Development and minor in Humanities she moved to North Carolina. She and her husband called Greensboro home for 10 years before moving to Clayton, NC with their four children.
After many years of physical and occupational therapy with her children, she became aware of the amazing benefits of massage in restoring mobility and enhancing health. This revelation encouraged her to pursue a career in massage therapy at Johnston Community College in Smithfield, NC. She was trained in Swedish massage, trigger-point therapy, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, and client health/pathology. She enjoys the endless opportunities for growth and learning that massage provides and loves that her education will continue to grow throughout her career.
In her free time she enjoys gardening, woodworking, sewing, going to the beach, and making her husband and children laugh.
